Join us – Feral Child Wine and Cheese Trunk Show March 13th 2009 in Boston!

Jute and Jackfruit is co-hosting an event with the innovative designers of Feral Childe this Friday, March 13th, at Artwear Boutique in Arlington, MA, from 5 to 8 pm. Come join us!

Alice Wu and Moriah Carlson of Feral Childe will join Jute and Jackfruit, and Gerry Menz, owner of Art Wear, in putting on this Wine and Cheese Trunk Show just in time for Spring.

Feral Childe is women-owned Brooklyn-based designer label, sold on the Jute and Jackfruit website. Feral Childe sources local and sustainable fabrics to create artsy, one-of-a-kind, modern designs, all made in the USA. Moriah and Alice’s fabrics are hand-dyed and their buttons are hand-cast (e.g. with clever dog images and puzzle shapes), creating remarkable details that make their clothing unforgettable. The upcoming Spring collection is inspired by the rivers, mountains and valleys of Yosemite, and the trunk show will also include some of our favorite items from Feral Childe’s winter collection.
