Rebe: Newest Eco-Designer on the Jute and Jackfruit Block
Jute and Jackfruit is delighted to welcome our newest designer of the season, Rebe!
Rebe is unique in that this designer is not the brainchild of not one but two talented, eco-conscious women. Debra Weiss and daughter Hillery Sproatt came together to form their dynamic eco-conscious design team. Debra received her degree in Textile Design from UC Davis but did not fully utilize her skills until she witnessed her daughter, Hillery Sproatt, blossom into a creative artist and designer.
Working together, they soon became unstoppable. Their clothing is funky, one-of-a-kind, comfortable, sometimes sophisticated AND eco-friendly. All their clothing that we carry at Jute and Jackfruit is eco-friendly, handcrafted from either organic cotton or bamboo, making their products extra soft, and in the case of bamboo, antibacterial and naturally moisture wicking.
Jute and Jackfruit is excited to showcase the following Rebe pieces in our Spring collection:
Upon first look, this shirt appears to be a classic, but on second glance, it is so much more. Made from 92% bamboo and 8% spandex, the fabric has soft elasticity, and the creative orange stitches bring together the pink, white and beige design to form a perfectly feminine, whimsically unfinished look.

The Dalila Hoodie also by Rebe is made from 100% certified organic cotton and has a beautiful screen printed flower design on the front, as well as a little black bird perching on the right shoulder. The hoodie inside is made with striped hot pink, funky fabric, with a compelling citrine mimosa color for the outer layer.
The designer sweatshirt is cheery enough to inspire sunlight on a cloudy day and the fabric is soft to touch, making it a perfect item to wear all day (especially on weekends), look great and feel cozy.
Blueberry Mauve Bloomers
Rebe’s fun, feminine 100% organic cotton bloomers in soft blueberry mauve are lined with double ruffle flares on the bottom as well as at the waist. The soft jersey fabric makes these pants extremely versatile. The ruffles keep them super chic, while the fabric keeps them so comfortable you will want to nap, do yoga, and laze around your house in them. They feature an adjustable drawstring at the waist for your comfort and are slightly cropped at the bottom. A truly smart design, and one of the hottest new eco-styles of the Spring.
