Eco-fashion and Recycled Candy wrapper handbags hit Arlington Town Day, MA 2009

We had a great time yesterday at the Arlington Town Day! Fantastic weather, tons of people and loads of fun. Thanks to everyone for coming by our booth. As expected the Nahui Ollin candy wrapper handbags were a huge hit, followed by Rebe and Indigenous Designs.

We did our annual raffle at the Town Day for a Nahui Ollin Itsy Bitsy purse, and the winner yesterday Tianna Liu – congratulations, Tianna! Tianna, please contact us for your bag – we emailed you but have not heard back yet! (customerservice[at]juteandjackfruit.com)

On other fronts, we enjoyed introducing our handloomed, organic cotton Indigenous Designs fall collection (which is actually not up on our website yet since we just got it in!) but I am wearing it above: the Long Zip Organic Cotton Hoodie in Red as well as the long sleeve V-neck Tee in Black. We also brought our Rebe recycled fleece fall coat collection (a huge hit among Bostonians)  – we have now sold out of the blue Maryanne coat and almost sold out of our teal cropped wrap around. Hope to get in more soon, but each one is one of a kind.
