Lonely Goatherds, Flying Pigs and Grassy Meadows: Feral Childe’s 2010 Sound of Music Collection Revisited

Feral Childe‘s innovation forges ahead this Spring with radiant colors, edgy designs and one-of-a-kind prints in their Sound of Music collection. As one of the more compelling eco-fashion collections of the season, the Sound of Music provides wearability with a beautiful uniqueness that one has come to expect from this Brooklyn-based eco-design duo.

Starting with the The Adrienne Tank (featured above) in clementine, this stunning 100% silk tank features a charming mushroom and cherries hand screen print that is nothing short of refreshing and playful. Femininely cut, the tank features front pleating as well as a layered flare panel on back left. Pair this tank with the Pocket cardigan or your favorite top, cardi or jacket.

The Silk Meadow dress (featured above) is Feral Childe’s one-of a-kind dress for the season. With a subtle blue meadow print on tea-colored silk, the dress works well over leggings or as is. Shown here with the Organic Cotton Merrow Tank Dress by Stewart + Brown, but for a more dynamic look, pair with the organic cotton Somethin’ Else tank dress (shown below)– also with the Japanese Mountain sketch print. Two deep, flat pockets in front add style and utility to the dress, characteristic of Feral Childe‘s signature look.
