Green Difference Awards Eco-Fashion Show 2010

Thursday night, May 27, 2010 Jute and Jackfruit participated in the Green Difference Awards in Cambridge, MA as part of the Project Green Schools initiative. Miss Massachusetts, Amanda Kelly organized an eco-fashion show for the evening with eco-friendly, stylish fashions, and Jute and Jackfruit presented the core organic, sustainable and ethical fashion collections for the evening’s show.

We had a great time working with all the runway models (pictured below)– all of whom are Miss Massachusetts candidates for 2010 (competition starting in a few weeks). Above is a little peak of the runway show, which included Kelly Lane, Sita and Prairie Underground, as well as handbags by Nahui Ollin and Escama. Held at Genzyme Corporations Atrium in Kendall Square. A beautiful venue, set to “green-inspired” rock and roll (pictured above)— such as the song “Turn Off the Lights”, the event was a blast. Stay tuned for more pics of the event on our blog and Facebook page.
